Hoping for a full house of LSU fans since Rice fans don't go to games anymore.

I’m surprised tickets are still available. I figured LSU fans would claim all of those.

For you guys heading to the Rice game for the first time, here's a slide show from Rice's website of Reckling Park. One of the nicer small parks around.

I might need help reconciling this:
With the following text from an email received from Rice:
Both discuss parking in West Lot 4. One source says it’s free. Another says $10.
$10 can probably buy half a beer, and I’d be willing to walk from a free lot.
Any knowledgeable input from the Rant about this?

If you're looking for parking for a Rice Athletic event, such as baseball or tennis, parking is free to the public. The majority of this parking is also available in West Lot 4, with the exception of Rice football contests when all of the lots located adjacent to the stadium are open.

GAME DAY INFORMATION Parking lots and gates open 1.5 hours prior to game time. Please note that parking is accessible through a season parking pass or by purchasing a West Lot 4 single-game parking pass for $10 in advance here or at the parking lot.

I was sick last week. Got my wife sick this week. She was complaining but she’s better and I spanked her enough to get her in line to go to the game with me. Sure as shite not going to a game by myself.

Parking for Rice athletic events is not free. It’s $10 for all of the lots between Rice Stadium and Reckling Park. Pretty short walk-maybe 300-400 yards. Cheaper than U. of Houston, which charged me $20 to park for a basketball game recently.
