Assaults on NYPD escalate to record-breaking totals in latest anti-cop sentiment: ‘Full-blown epidemic’ - NYPost link
Just a reminder, this illegal assaulted a cop but was cut loose with no cash bail.
This guy is being prosecuted to the fullest extent:

Somewhat conflicted on this. Obviously, this is a symptom of Dem run cities and totally predictable. However, plenty of pos cops out there so I have a hard time feeling a ton of sympathy for them. I still remember cops giving out tickets for such heinous crimes as attending church services and surfing in the ocean during covid. They were nothing more than Brown shirts willing to enforce tyrannical policy.

The City Council last year took away NYPD's rights to carry night sticks while patrolling. As for calling them brownshirts, their union fought those duties thru the appeals court level & lost. Significant numbers did leave the force, this being one of the reasons why.

I doubt they get released within a few hours without bail required if that happens. And I don’t mean the suspects.
