Step 1. Don't get arrested

depends on what your specific definition of arrest is.
Do you classify detainment as an arrest?

Sounds like he has a 0% recidivism rate from his perps. Had he survived, that would go on the resume’.

I'm looking for the photo but the one I saw yesterday definitely shows that it would be very easy to drive right into the river. The road makes a sharp turn but the lines continue on into the water if you go straight. Add the fact that he had just moved to that county from New York and didn't know the area....
EDIT, found the photo, if you're driving down that road and don't know the area, you could easily drive straight.

He was new to the area and she was his first arrest.
I hope his widow and their three children can find a better life somewhere. I can't imagine they have kin down here (or it would have been mentioned.)

Permanent administrative assistant work in his future.
Kind of tough to arrange that, considering he’s dead.

You sir are an idiot. I bet I don’t have to guess why you hate police officers. You were raised to, weren’t you?

Raised to hate cops? I don't hate them. I dislike them though. It's the only profession besides Walmart greeter that needs no training.

What a brutal way for that poor woman to go.
May she rest in peace.

Terrible way to die. Drowning while handcuffed in the back seat of a cop car

What training do you need? A firearm? Nope. Anyone can practice and be as proficient as they are. In fact they suck with firearms.
Give out tickets? Anyone with a radar can do that. Walmart greeter = cop.
We aren't talking about detectives here. But agree to disagree

You’d think, but there was that situation where the locked a woman in the back of a cruiser while to was parked on train tracks and it was hit by, you got it, a train.
Courts said they didn’t do anything wrong.

Umm, the arresting chick got 3 years probation and the civil suit is underway. The settlement is expected to be massive. Educate yourself.

Kinda BS they get to fiddle with a laptop and phone
I always wondered if the laptops they have mounted by the steering wheel works when they are driving or if it shuts off when the car is in motion..
I see cops that appear to be watching for people speeding.. but you can see the light from their screen on. I am sure the department monitors what they look at, when, etc so I doubt they can search for porn or frick around for a long time looking at other shite, but yeah if it works while they are driving.. that is a dangerous set up

Arrested, as in fricking arrested this is probably gonna blow your mind, you don't even have to be guilty to get convicted. And by convicted I mean in a court of law

Only if it comes with a notice to appear in court for a misdemeanor. Not sure if Louisiana does that, but it is a thing in Florida... I hear.

Odd that they wrote “covered in a lot of mud”. Not sure what the point of that statement was.

He got out and left her to drown.
He died the same way she did. He drowned and was almost certainly trapped in the car but his body floated out with the current. Or maybe he died trying to save her. We don't know but there's probably some dash or body cam footage that will give some details as to what happened.
You're acting like this was a Ted Kennedy situation.
