Just read this board regularly. Almost every single attempt at explaining actions by people considered to be “liberals” or on the left is attributed to some inherently nefarious intention.

Because it’s been drummed in their heads by the media and educational systems. Socialism only preaches one way. It ain’t our way for sure.

Well…..because they know they are right, and not living the big red lie.

Because the entire western world has been organized around leftist beliefs for about 3 centuries.

Ask a modern American conservative what his primary and highest value is and he will likely tell you "freedom" instead of "order."

The very water we swim in is leftist. Everytime you hear a "conservative" say the left are the real racists/fascists/etc., they are making an appeal to the sacred value of egalitarianism, which is a cornerstone of the leftist worldview.

It's not so much confidence in their beliefs as it is 1) a total and complete absence of a soul, and 2) the knowledge that what they're doing is wrong but not having the ability to care about it. Total and complete lack of empathy.

Their moral superiority from everything from climate change crap to racism, to homelessness, etc. they think they’re better than the rest of us because they think with their emotions and FEEL like they’re doing good without the need for data/evidence to back up anything they do/say/think.

cause it is easier to be lazy and dumb - especially when the fed gov actually pays you to be that way.

It’s an incurable mental disorder

One afternoon at my Dad's pool I asked the question of my Dad.

"Why are you a Democrat?"

"Because every time a became President, I got a pay raise."

My reply .....

"That ship sailed a long time ago. It was a Democrat that sent you to Viet Nam. They hate you now. Besides, you raised three of us. We are college educated and all three Conservative, We now cancel out your vote."

My mind is continually blown when they squeal Trump is "fascist".

The only thing that mmmmmight seem remotely controlling and intolerant is his claim to hold pro-life beliefs. NO, I'm not calling the many pro-lifers on this board "fascist"; just struggling to imagine any reason why libs would use that term.

He's concerned about illegal immigration, but seems clear he views citizens as equal participants in our big soup bowl. And he has never expressed opposition to gay marriage, to my knowledge.

So why the "fascism" label?? Like others say, I guess they just think with their emotions. And a little MSM stimulus is all it takes to wind them up. That's all it takes to give their life the illusion of "purpose", that they must destroy a supposed monster.
