4 episodes in and can't stop watching. The casted couple has so much chemistry.

because everything Dong Lover does is great
the show is better than the movie in every conceivable way and you think it's shite because the 2 leads aren't white?

I watched the first episode last night and really enjoyed it.
Critics have it at 91% on rotten tomatoes but the audience score is 58%. Probably triggered because they "changed the races"
It's clearly a different story and from the first scene and in the movie, it's clear there are multiple "Mr and Mrs. Smith" couples.

The first Jane in the first seen was great, what we ended up with not so much. And it's got nothing to do with anything other than she's uninteresting & unappealing.
D Glover is great and wish he was paired with someone with the same chops as him. I know we can't get Angelina but at least better than some chick that looks like Mr Myagi.
But the show is good & maybe I'll warm up to her/him.

Minor Spoilers:
I consider myself a bit of a curmudgeon when it comes to remakes That being said and after the sagely comments offered from this illustrious group of commentators, my wife and I decided to watch the show....
It's great. Totally caught me off guard in a pleasant way. Aside from the title, forget the "Bradgelina" version. It's not remotely close.
In the OG, the couple were very season assassins working for opposing organizations like the "WE" channel and the one that competes with it. Also, they met by chance and fell in love. The new version has these two raw recruits put together for the same organization and they are "seasoned" like "Bradgelina".
Also, the Voice of "Mizo" from "Blue-Eyed Samauri" is Jane...not bad.
Give it a try and lighten up.

Watched the first episode. It was decent enough that I will continue to watch. As race was mentioned in the second post, I'll say this about it. An interracial couple of a black dude and an asian woman is conspicuous, and that would make being spies more difficult.

I think it's good. Not great, but I'm really enjoying it.
The chemistry is really good and I find the dialogue very genuine between the two. I love other shows with quippy, witty, writers sat in a room for days writing it out perfectly, but this is just as you would expect between people feeling each other out and trying to be funny and goofy and attractive, etc.

Just finished this and thought it was very good. Episode 6 felt like a season 1 Atlanta episode. The finale was solid and I hope it gets renewed for a season 2.

Pile of crap. Would have been great if there was an iota of chemistry between the lead actors. Sorry but Donald Glover cannot do action.
