It is amazing this isn’t more widely known. IYKYK I guess.

If so, I respect them. I’d do it myself and get that poison completely out of my life, but my grandkids “need” that when they sleep over.

You provide great insight into what it's like to live in Omaha most of the year, when the CWS isn't there. I couldn't deal with the cold weather, so good luck.
I've been here a little over 28 years now and I'm finding the older I get the less tolerant of the cold weather I am. We just came out of about a week stretch where the only time the temp got out of single digits was when it was -17 overnight. Now that we've climbed back up to the mid-40s, the 2-3 feet of snow we got is starting to melt - it's a freakin' mess.
It's coming to that time of year where I will get asked often how the team is going to do, will they be here this year? That will be followed up with, 'The CWS just isn't the same without LSU and their fans here'. And, they're absolutely correct. The CWS is a great time but the atmosphere just rises to a new level with our Tigers and their fans here. And, that's the consensus here in Omaha - not just a biased opinion of a Tiger in Omaha. When they're here for the duration and win it all like last year - off the charts!

quote:Pretty sure I get by every year by only paying 1 months of the ESPN+ subscription for the away non-SEC games.
The good thing about the schedule this season is that only 4 games and the Astros Foundation Classic are not on SECN, SECN+, ESPN, or ESPN2 which most cable providers and streaming service providers include with their base packages.
Only the games at Rice and at Southeastern are on ESPN+ since the SEC team is not the host

Unless we are playing Southeastern at their dump of a stadium where they can’t support tv cameras

The questions will still come, though

I have two regrets in life.
I should have been Cajun.
I should have majored in Economics.

For those looking for the lowest price legal stream: Sling tv $40 for package that includes ESPN.
Add $15 sports extra package for SECN, SECN+, ESPNU (also has golf channel and others like ACC and Big10 network). Current promo is half of first month.

You'd think that a bunch of people that constantly complain about a pirated stream being taken down wouldn't make a third of the posts in this thread about how to find the pirated stream.

At this point I feel like asking how to watch a game is like asking someone how to make toast.

Was wondering the other day about GMorgan? Where'd he go to? I forget. He was the GOAT. (but appreciate your and CheerWhine's efforts!)

I’ve got direct tv and I think I have to purchase ESPN+ in order to get SEC+
Posted on 2/14/24 at 3:33 pm to dadof4grads
I just checked, looks like I have SEC+ and it would cost me $10.99/mo. for ESPN+. If I can get both ESPN+ games in some month time frame I’ll buy it and cancel after 1 month
