There are a few of these by Valerius Geist on Elk, Bison, Antelope, Whitetail, etc. They're fun to flip through and cheap on Ebay.

A Sand Country Almanac by Aldo Leopold. Amazing visionary when reading it today and see what is happening in the hunting world.

IMO one of them should be a wild game cookbook of your choice

Not hunting/fishing but Louisiana Cowboys by Bill Jones (Bert's brother) is a fantastic book and will fit nicely on a coffee table.
He rode with the Gray Ranch cowboys for a year to gather his information.

America, Wild Turkeys, and Mongrel Dogs by Kenny Morgan is a nice one.

I will add seconds to John Folse's book, A Sand County Almanac (the coffee table version), and Hank Shaw's books.
