LSU WR candidates?

Im sure y’all saw the news of Atlanta Falcons requesting to interview Cortez Hankton for their OC spot.( He’ll most likely be CO-OC/WR coach with Zac Robinson as the OC)
This post will serve as a place for y’all to list possible WR coaches you think LSU should hire IF Hankton leaves.
Ill go first. Adam Henry. Currently WR coach at Buffalo Bills but Bills are currently interviewing new OCs. Joe Brady took over OC duties after Bills fired Ken Dorsey and may end up getting the job. I dont know if Brady will keep offensive staff together or bring his guys in. Henry is a Mcneese grad and was coaching OBJ/Landry at LSU for 2012-2014. One issue is he does seem to be a career NFL guy. Was at Indiana for a year (2022?) as WR/CO-OC before going back into NFL again.

Yankton isn’t getting an NFL OC job yet.

Another name a buddy threw out is Mickey Joseph. Currently Grambling State HC making only $400K.

Not sole OC, but I’m sure Morris isnt interviewing him for it. It will be for WR/CO-OC/PGC. This post just serves to throw some names out in the meantime.

Seems like hankton won't be long for lsu even if he doesn't get this job.
Seems like he wants to land in the NFL long-term.

Hankton will make it one more year at LSU. This interview helps satisfy the Rooney Rule in the NFL. Not saying that is the only reason but if LSU’s offense remains hot (especially the WR room) then Hankton will not last much longer. Look at the positive though, when your assistants are being hired away then you are doing something right as a staff.

Guys they satisfied the Rooney rule weeks ago, this has nothing to do with that. He’s not going to be brought in to call plays. Like poster said above it will be the same title he has here.

It does. It applies to all coordinators and QB Coaches.

For the umpteenth time, the Rooney Rule only applies for HC vacancies.

For the umpteenth time, that is not correct.
It applies to coordinators and QB coaches as well
