3 adult men went to watch a game at a friend's house and didn't come home. Finally a fiancee went looking and all three were found dead in the back yard. Homeowner was there for two additional days and purportedly didn't notice. Police immediately ruled out foul play but no cause determined.

Speculation on Reddit is they were cooked on drugs and sat out back too long and just died there as it was quite cold. Friend was either zonked out himself or too panicked to call it in.

quote:

(NewsNation) — On Jan. 7, three Kansas City Chiefs fans went to a friend’s house to watch a game. Two days later, their bodies were found in the backyard of that Kansas City home. Now, as their families push for answers, the homeowner’s attorney tells NewsNation his client had “no idea” their bodies were in his backyard.

“They were in the backyard. He doesn’t use that particular door. He goes out in the front. And so, he had no knowledge that they were out there until, you know, Tuesday when he was told that they were out there,” attorney John Picerno told NewsNation host Dan Abrams.

I can’t imagine how awful it must be to have to get so baked to watch your team to deal with Taylor Swift coverage that you freeze to death.

I live about 2 miles from there and this is the most complete up to date story I’ve heard. Local media has went silent on this story.

At least 70 killed so far nation-wide from this particular cold snap. We're gonna need a fancy, tens of millions of dollar, government dashboard website to track the cold and its impact.

Or, at least more sensational headlines like the heat gets.

That's why you don't just wantonly tell someone to "chill out."
