Be sure to check in on her periodically to see of she needs a helping hand.
When Spring comes mow the grass for her.

Ok. But you have to start with Lizzo

Sad to hear for sure.
My FIL is early 80s and just recently had a considered mild heart attack and they had to put in a stint. Could have easily been his number this past summer

That's the worst part of it. She just lost her mom back before Christmas.

She has a guy that does that for her, but we'll shovel her driveway when it snows.

Challenge accepted. I'm not scared of taking one for the team.
Just wanted to add I mean no disrespect to the guy who passed away. That's a very sad situation.

What do you think that dog knows that we don’t?
I might be a bit autistic, so are you just repeating a common narrative that some people like to say because other people like to hear it?

Dad had a cousin that died very young and his dog jumped into the hearse at the church. The funeral director moved to get him out but decided getting bit wasn’t worth the effort. That dog died at his masters grave never leaving or eating the food he was brought. Hard to describe that kind of bond.
A cat would just shite on your grave and bury it then move on

My great grandfather had a heart attack and drove into a ditch with his dog riding shotgun. Dog was fine, but great grandpa died. The dog never ate another bite of food. Just curled up on the back porch and died himself a few weeks later.

I am 74 and I take my 3 dogs to the dog park every day. If I could make a list of every person I have ever met, I assure I would prefer my dogs company over 98% of the humans on that list.

Sadly the dog will probably mourn himself to death.

So sad, mostly for the family but also for what I would bet was his best bud.
Prayers have been said.

Thank you. And thanks to everyone else in the thread from posters to upvoters. I can't thank you all individually, but know I appreciate it all.
