I don't agree with this. The whole run-up to the Cares Act may have played out completely differently.

Trump got completely blindsided by the CARES. I think someone who wasn’t as naive to government processes would’ve understood the giveaways in that bill better than Team Trump did.

I supported Trump for 5 years.
His behavior this time is just too far for me. It was beyond the pale and Ron Desantis didn’t deserve that treatment from people like you.

I dont see a way around a majority of the CARES act
Of course, you guys will now bash Trump for it but at the time saving small businesses was the right thing to do

it was essentially unanimous. DeSantis can’t convince republicans to vote for him, but he would have changed enough congressional votes? This is why we call y’all a cult.
