For Robert E Lee day. Did you spend time with your family, enjoy a day of recreation with friends, or do some community service Work?

I took off work. Same as I did for every other workday since I retired.

TSWRA. The yanks occupation of the confederacy has gone on too long. From the river to the sea, the CSA will be free

I flagellated myself for three hours to atone for my whiteness

Does anyone celebrate nationally recognized holidays for others? MLK, Presidents, etc. Christmas might be the only one.

Watched reruns of The Dukes of Hazzard all day long and played Dixieland music in the background. I also proudly flew my Confederate flag.

20 years ago he was widely lauded as a good man and a great general. He was opposed to slavery and actually worked to free slaves in Liberia.
Now that society has rewritten history he's a dirty racist and a traitor and can't have statues anymore.

I ate at an Ethiopian restaurant last night. Does that count somehow?

He was opposed to slavery
—everything you said except this is correct. He owned 189 slaves. His wife’s family forced him to set them free. LINK
PS and Grant never at any time owned a slave or slaves

Drove over to the Vicksburg National Military Park and said a prayer for our nation at the foot of his statue on Lee Circle, then dropped by Byrger King for a Mustard Whopper and onion rings.

Just wondering, did Grant own a plantation?
