He's a big guy but needs to lose weight and gain some Lateral agility/speed. Would make a heck of a road grader guard.

I know Tennessee is the popular pick here but wouldn’t he have committed by now with classes starting for Spring?

No idea whether there’s any truth to the Tennessee part, but it looks like class doesn’t start until next week there. On top of that you generally have a window after the official start of the semester, but I don’t see the “last add date” on their academic calendar.

They were good enough to be our 6th OL as a true freshman and while he was at LSU. Amazing how kids get better or worse immediately upon leaving or joining a particular school.

Unfortunately this kid is not a team player. He doesn’t want to be aligned nor stay on the path. He needs a check up from the neck up. He doesn’t see that versatility is an asset on the next level. He would get his shot somewhere sometime with patience and hard work.

Check his snaps and who they were against. Coaches know he can’t play tackle in the SEC, him and his family don’t believe it. Good luck to him

I upvoted bc I agree, but I do think he has the potential to be very good - he's just not good enough to beat out LT1 at LSU right now

We just cannot be giving NIL "raises" to backups. Its bad for everyone, LH included.

If he's insistent, he's doing the right thing by transferring.

WTF are you talking about? Surely you cannot be serious. He turned on us first. Let his teammates down in the bowl game. Put himself in the portal. He can kick rocks.

Is it possible that nobody is willing to fork up the money and/or a starting LT spot?

unproven talent.

All CFB coaches would be in a better position if they didn't take 1 year and Outs from the portal. IF they only took upper classmen, it would help both them and the players that don't get coached up.

Kid left because he wants to play tackle and knows he’s not doing it here. He’d make a good guard

If he’s starting LT at tenn next year I’m glad….that means they don’t have anything better

ive always thought it once i saw him in action this year. he lunges and dives at guys in a lot of situations because his feet arent able to get set where he needs to reposition to.

hes certainly got all the other nfl measurables.

im not a blind lsu homer you got the wrong guy

I think it is more about money than position. No inside info, though. I think too much judgement is coming from the comment he made about playing LT. I took the comment to be confidence coming out of a talented kid.

You make a good point on him not playing in the bowl. We don't know what went on behind the scenes, but the timing was poor on his part. We just have a lot of bashing of kids that leave. It is a business now. Some "employees" leave for more money at every company.

Family/entourage are heavily involved in everything. And this is his problem.

Can't remember the words to Rocky Top while having to sing it. When he does, he can commit.
