Is Lance Heard not getting his number? Why hasn’t he committed?

I know Tennessee is the popular pick here but wouldn’t he have committed by now with classes starting for Spring?

Is it possible that nobody is willing to fork up the money and/or a starting LT spot?

Not getting hopes up that he comes back, just curious what yall have Heard.

It is interesting he seemingly hasn’t had as much interest as people thought he would.

No one is more surprised than whoever told him to chase the bag I imagine.

No, no I don’t think I will.

And the best part? There’s nothing you can do to make me.

Whatever is going on, I don't think he's getting the interest he wanted.

You have to think A&M or some school like that will be willing to comply with his demands.

I don’t know how it all works but the collectives paying for this have to be concerned paying kids with his recent track record

He looked like he would make a solid RT. Come back home.

Didn't he commit to Tennessee?

OT Lance Heard has informed the Tennessee coaching staff that he will be committing to the Vols.

His decision comes after he traveled to Oklahoma on Sunday & was stranded at the airport. No Oklahoma staff members were there to greet him & waited for 5 hours to be picked up.

The bit about Oklahoma is gold

If he doesn't get his number, watch him sit out his second and third year in hopes of getting drafted over being an unrestricted free agent.

That's a big challenge for a player with extremely limited experience. He'd be putting everything on his ability to unseat existing NFL players with proven experience at that level.

I know that all sounds totally ridiculous, but judging the advice it appears he's been receiving; nothing surprises me.

It's reported to be an Oklahoma/Tennessee battle with Ole Miss trying to be involved. It only takes one to meet his demands. He could've done far worse.

He’s not as good as he thinks he is.

I upvoted bc I agree, but I do think he has the potential to be very good - he's just not good enough to beat out LT1 at LSU right now.
