Developing: The Raptors and Pacers are in active talks on a trade centered on two-time All-Star Pascal Siakam for package that includes three first-round picks, league sources say. Full details at @TheAthletic with @sam_amick:
Sounds like they just have to finalize the details

Like they need more help.

Curious to know the details, this trade here would pretty much set the value of a BI trade

Smart trade by the Pacers.
These teams hoarding 1st round picks just finish middle of the pack. Better to make an impact trade.

This is an interesting move for the Pacers. Siakam keeps saying he wants to test out the FA market. Giving up 3 FRP is going to be a tough pill to swallow. Especially since you can’t test him out with Halliburton for awhile.

In the case of the Pacers, they aren’t likely getting much better with picks and aren’t getting FAs.
Going all in with Siakam fits their timeline with Halliburton, Mathurin, etc, as their core.

I'm interested in the players going back. Indiana has a lot of good young players to include in the deal. Could be a great deal for Toronto depending who's coming back.

Siakam’s contract is expiring and Toronto wanted picks for him.
I figure a good chunk of what is going is the picks and expiring contracts like Buddy Hield.

Rumors are Bruce Brown with salary filler thats not Heild along with those 3 1sts
Brown, Mathurin and Toppin get them there, Raps could send back Siakam, Temple and Thad Young

Hield is a given but I expect Indiana to give up some quality noncore players.

Maybe, maybe not.
Ujiri constantly overvalues his players and it tends to mean that deals don’t happen as a result. If he doesn’t move Siakam, they get jack shite because he is going to walk. And if Siakam goes to a team he isn’t high on, they aren’t going to give up prime assets for him.

Should've traded BI for him

Mathurin is Canadian too. They just got RJ Barrett. Who’s next? SGA?

Yeah but if Pacers are giving up that much- I’m sure they’ve talked to Pascal’s agents and would come to an understanding on resigning. Similar what happened with kyrie in dallas. Not saying anything is a certainty but they probably feel pretty good about resigning him.
