As someone who voted for Trump twice, including supporting him as soon as Rand dropped out in 2016, but prefers DeSantis this go around, it's humorous seeing some of the most retarded elements of the Trump sycophants proclaiming anyone who doesn't grovel at Trump's feet to be either a traitor or a secret Democrat. Very similar to the simpletons on the left calling everyone a Russian agent.
There are a lot of people that Trump brought into politics that never followed them before and who think the conservative movement began with Trump in 2016 and somehow cannot exist without his messianic leadership. They will adopt whatever position Trump has at the given moment and possess minimal independent critical thinking, certainly not any that would put them at odds with Trump's position at any given moment.

I voted for Trump twice and will probably vote for him again despite his childish attacks on others. OTOH, his most ardent supporters seem to be just awful people.
