Do teams usually send out a simple tweet saying "We have interviewed ____"? I'm guessing the interview consisted of "please Bill?" anyway

You can't break something that has never been whole to begin with. That franchise was born broken

Falcons are in a much better position than any of the other teams currently without a head coach. Maybe besides LA

U may want to take a peak at that qb room before making a claim like that

They have a lot of cap space and draft capital/young players to go get a QB.

They really are only a QB away, and an edge rusher.

The roster is actually pretty good.

What’s the point in even interviewing him? It’s borderline insulting.

Probably to discuss whether or not he is going to be the GM in addition to Head Coach and also to find out his choices for coordinators. Oh, and money.

He probably more interviewed Blank.

But you have to formally interview all coaching candidates per NFL rules.

Yea it was probably morso Belichick interviewed the Falcons. If Bill wants the job, it is absolutely is.

I can't imagine them sending Bill the standard rejection email, "we have decided to go with another candidate with more experience at this time".

Whether Belichick is the right person to lead the Falcons to prosperity or not, I don't know. My viewpoint here is that Blank is so desperate to have a seat at the cool kids' table before he croaks...aka the group of owners who have super bowl titles...that his judgement on who is best for the franchise is likely clouded by Belichick's past success. That's all this is.

I can’t imagine this being anything more than Belichick setting a baseline. He’s no spring chicken, he needs to go to the team that’s best equipped to win now. That ain’t the Falcons, imo.
