It’s fine, I’m meaning more the people that have to tell me every morning at work about it. My reply is always the same, eat before you come to work so I don’t have to listen to you harping on how you have to eat a big breakfast every cday. Not really creepy but I’d rather fist fight a grizzly bear than deal with a Mardi Gras parade again.

Too damn crowded can’t get anywhere. No thanks that’s a young man’s game I’m staying at home.

Mardi Gras is one of the shrinking number of unique things that New Orleanians use to justify staying in the city. It’s sort of like LSU football home games for Baton Rouge residents.

It’s how they cope mentally with the ludicrous decision to remain in the third world quagmire.
