its not the job of the government

The job of the government is to micro-manage mothers in the name of being “pro-life” but the government can’t provide food for kids in the name of being pro-life?

Saying someone can't kill a baby is "micro-managing?"

The idea that parents have kids that they can't feed is justification for more abortion.

No, that's the government protecting the rights of the unborn.

Do you call it micro-managing when the government makes murder illegal?

Funny you use that word 'mothers.'

A mother is a female human who has given birth. A female who kills the baby prior to being born is not a mother.

Oh, and just in case you are thinking that a pregnant woman is considered a mother, because she is responsible for the baby in her womb, then by definition she is a murderer when she chooses to end that baby's life. If you acknowledge that it's a baby human in the womb, then killing that baby is murder.

We expect mothers to carry and birth their children. We also expect mothers to feed their children.

That may seem like too high a burden from your point of view. But I find it a ridiculous point.

There is no government which can conjure resources to feed people, there is only us who work all day to send the government money to buy food for people.

Defying the normal course of human history whereby the impoverished are malnourished, we've managed to grow ourselves a crop of fat, poor people whose health is wrecked by obesity.

In this case, reducing the rate at which we (society) overfeed our low income citizens is both necessary and humane.

1. Defining "mirco-managing" as preventing someone from killing another human being might be the most idiotic statement I have ever seen anywhere.

2. Is the government "micro-managing" me by preventing me from slapping you in the face for posting such idiocy? If not, why not?

First, are you suggesting pregnant ladies who have their babies aborted are Mothers? Sounds rather at odds with the concept of Motherhood.

Second, does the government “micromanage” criminals and try to prevent murders by criminals? Yes as it should. And if you ask me, the fundamental charge in the Constitution mandates the government to defend a person’s right to LIFE, LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. If that involves a basic guarding/“micromanaging” of a “Mother” to protect a child’s fundamental rights then so be it.

Not ending a life isn't micro, it's about as macro as you can get.
