Stefanik or Sanders would be good. Sarah Sanders. Not Bernie or Harland.

I wanted to like Tim Scott, but over time I realized that he was as stupid as Herschel.

Tim Scott was smart enough to drop out of the race early so that he didn't have to dis Trump anymore and will be the perfect VP for Trump to win Georgia and South Carolina.

I still think Haley but DeSantis absolutely bludgeoned her last night. It's going to be an Establishment hack, those endorsements he got and money don't come for free. They only came because they want a VP they can replace Trump with.

Given that, I'd hope he'd bring in the most qualified person to extend his legacy.

You're assuming Trump's second term will be substantially more successful than his first, otherwise his legacy will be a lead weight around the neck of the VP. That's probably no better than a 50/50 proposition, which is why it'll be tough for him to get the "most qualified person" for VP and he'll end up picking either Noem or Scott.

You're assuming quite a bit more. Sans CV19, Trump wins an avalanche in 2020.
