Let that bitch heat up for 2 hrs in 80 degree heat and your trash can will smell like Mrs. Fields dogshit cookies.

I don't worry about it...

if I see my dog pooping the neighbors yard, I go scoop it with a rake. rare but it happens...

but I am not a carrying a bag while I walk my dog...

our subdivision sets up well he can poop along a walkway that is public ...

If the squirrels, Possums, Geese, Ducks, Turtles, frogs, birds and the like, don't have to be picked up after, I am not doing it for my dog...

Proper Etiquette states you scoop it up and place it in a bag, then set the bag on your neighbor who has pissed you off and light the bag on Fire and ring his doorbell……

On trash pick up days, I put it in others trash cans. Other days I throw it in a port a potty in my hood where they are doing new construction or in my can if the dogs poop near the house.

Also, my neighborhood recently put in small, green, pet waste containers every few blocks tucked away behind landscaping. We pay some service to empty them. They've been great. We have a very hands-off and affordable HOA, but they do things like this maybe once a year as their big project (and they enforce mowing/edging if egregious).

Yep. Our neighborhood has those too and yet people can’t walk over to them to dispose of the waste. It’s laziness and entitlement.

Yea...you're the kinda entitled a-hole I've been ranting about this thread. Thanks for proving my point

If it’s trash day and the trash has not run yet, maybe. As long as you’re positive the bag isn’t going to fall down into the bin and potentially get left behind/stuck to the bottom.

If we’re talking about an empty trash bin and the bag of turds is going to be sitting there all week then no. You’re an inconsiderate arse hole who lacks common sense and courtesy.

Yea I’d love for a bag of turds to sit in my trash bin baking in the 100 degree sun all week.

Love getting a face full of that every time I go to throw away my own trash.

Also some neighborhoods require you to put your trash can in your garage or behind a fence.

So now your garage smells like shite for a week.

Again, just use your own bins you bunch of lazy fricks.

Except in most cities, the resident doesn’t own the can.

In my neighborhood,

In mt neighborhood a guy was walking his dog that was on a leash. The guy stopped and his dog was taking a crap in the yard of someone else. After the dog finishes taking a crap the man and the dog started to leave. When they started to walk away the owner of the house came out and screamed hey bud you forgot something. Apparently the guy was watching the dog taking a crap or one of his neighbors called him up. The property owner started to scream something to the dog owner and the dog owner started to scream something back. I went inside my house because I will never be a witness to anything I saw ever again. I had a bad experience thirty years ago with a supposed eye witness.

Are there many trash services where you actually own your can? Everywhere I have ever lived you started service and they dropped off a can and when you ended service they picked it up. While I would not be surprised if some services don't provide a can but I would think it is the exception rather than the rule.

I do how some people could view it as "their" can since in many ways it is since they have possession of it and are responsible for it but in the same way a rental car is yours.

if your dog poops anywhere outside of your property then you should pick it up.

Weird. I have the exact opposite experience, and I would think that my experience is the rule rather than the exception.

Mine is going back over 30 years and 7 different homes in 4 different states.

I am curious have you had any large companies like WM or smaller local trash companies?

That doesn't bother me at all. I'd also rather people put trash in my can than throw it on the street or down the storm drain.
