He’s not an explosive back, starting next year we’ll have RBs with explosive speed. The ability to score from more than 20 yards out.
Diggs was great, serviceable, intelligent, but not an explosive back.
It would be hard for him get the same amount of carries this coming year.

Running back room is stacked again. My guess is they want lateral speed and guys that can run off the edge. Rushing game obviously won’t be helped by the RPO this year. We are going to have to catch a lot of passes and run more stretch type plays.

I want them to let Kaleb Jackson loose. Diggs probably saw the writing on the wall.

Serious question, since the college kids are getting NIL money can they get agents as a freshman? If they can, perhaps they are getting bad advice.

I think it’s a combination of new comers, Kaleb Jackson, and the style of offense this is going to be with Nuss running the show.
Based on the bowl game, LSU is going to be a pass first offense. Clearly they’re comfortable with Nuss slinging the rock and setting up the run game off of that. It’s a tough offense to be in if you’re a running back.
