I think the prevalence of incredibly hot girls who are in the top 10% of human attractiveness on social media giving their opinions on the world of dating has made the other 90% completely delusional. The most common thing I see are extraordinarily average women saying she won't settle less for a man who "earns a good living", "has an entrepreneur mindset", "allows me to pursue my passions", and "Is generous with his money".

What that translates to is they want a man who earns 300k+ that will let them spend freely or open a money losing hobby boutique. That amount of money is roughly 5% of the earners in this country. That doesn't even take into consideration age, attractiveness, or marital status.

Yet somehow half of the women in this country think they deserve this in addition to the litany of other requirements I didn't even start to get into. Young men these days are really facing an unpleasant dating journey, and the women end up hitting the wall and bitter.

Maybe if 99.99% of the men didn’t expect us to look like the 10% of hot girls this wouldn’t be a problem

frick em.

These might be the women making themselves most visible, but I'd venture to say it makes up a miniscule percentage of the actual single female population. Even in America where these instahoes thrive, there are lots of women out there who actually have a functional brain and want a traditional family.

The Female Delusion Calculator put me in the top 5% of men. Even with me being short and OT poor.

There must be some desperate baws in the Tinderverse if IRL 3s aren't lowering their standards.

It's simps that buy them stuff that are enabling them to keep the mindset.

Upvoted without reading. Most women are legit retarded when it comes to bearing the true weight of family. That's why single-mother households raise, mostly, soft idiots.

so if you're not any of those and you don't want a woman with that as her dating criteria, why are you upset?

it's so weird to hear men bitching about women stating who they are and what they want up front. sorry for the efficiency and time savings? would you rather them wait until 5-10 years into marriage to show you their true colors?

I'm convinced this all started when we gave women the microwave oven. It's been all downhill since.

I have learned many of the woman on Instagram and Tic Toc who are attractive and appear to travel all the time without a job are actually prostitutes.

They are high dollar prostitutes with clients who fly them places and spend a few day with them. Their Instagram is mostly an advertisement for future clients.

That guy who invented that customizable female sexbot will be the richest man in the world in 25 years.

Now not every woman has this mindset, but I feel that social media has convinced many of them that they should have it all.

I think a problem is a generation of women were raised on what to expect from a man and how the man should treat his woman. They were never taught how a man would like to be treated and his expectations of her.

I think people underestimate the number of desperate/lonely men who also make a great living. It's a subset that people don't think about; people assume if a guy has money he must have a ton of women. Many don't.

There are a lot of guys with considerable resources who haven't improved themselves anywhere else. They're happy to exchange that for time with women, and these women are just reacting to that.

Also I don't think these women care as much about how much the guy makes. It's more about a guy that's willing to spend what they have. They are not willing to date a guy making $500k, hell even $1m+ if that guy isn't spending any of it on her. They see no value in simply being in proximity to money. They'd rather the guy making $100k that'll blow his entire check and go on trips whenever.

There's a line between confidence and delusion, social media has a lot of sub-5's acting like they are 10's.

Bring on the sexbots. We can create machines to get us nuts, but women can't create a machine to go out and earn them a living.

Somebody said in the other dating thread that upward mobility isn't always great because poor/trashy people bring their poor/trashy attitudes with them.

Social media has given every single person on the planet a voice. Unfortunately, that "new money" attitude has won. It's the same idea as a huge TV in a mobile home. Women living in tacky apartments carrying designer bags.

Somehow every woman thinks she needs multiple Chanel bags and a Range Rover. It's very very weird. "Influencers" have done this, IMO.

They want to be able to have a "rich" husband and frick what they consider hot guys on the side with zero negative fallout.

They'll end up as bar hags and dying alone.
