As more time passes the more I think it’s Minter for DC

If it was Baker, Gibson or any other college guy it would be done by now. I don’t think he goes the NFL route again because recruiting is an unknown.
BK knew he was firing House so there is no way he is just performing the search now. I think he has Minter already lined up and just waiting for Michigan’s season to be over then announce.

Harbaugh may go to the NFL? New regime coming in? Money? South? I see he may originally be from Arkansas? Not sure that even matters. LSU is a national championship program as well. Imagine if we just had a decent defense this season.
The interesting thing I read off his wiki was his father is a defensive analyst for Michigan. I wonder if they are a packaged deal.

Why would anyone leave a job? Culture, money, etc. There’s never one reason and these coaching jobs are no different than any other corporate job in terms of why people leave a company.

I wouldn’t say Jesse Minter is a Mike Macdonald clone, but they coached together under John Harbaugh before becoming the D Coordinator for Jim. Seems like a no brainer hire for LSU.

I wouldn't be surprised if Harbaugh brought Minter with him to the NFL. He spent a few years with the Ravens before moving back to college. The next logical step is back to the NFL.

Disagree. Brian Kelly himself in a press conference said coaching staff decisions would be made after the season is finished. I don’t know why the media assumed House was staying because he wasn’t fired during the season

Michigan with or without Harbaugh still has to deal with an NCAA investigation. The dying viper would love to strike a blow to a national champ or runner up in a move to say “yeah we are relevant, see??”
