Any thoughts on this one? I am not one who travels single, but my NBA team is in Utah twice during a week off and I have never been to Utah. Thought this could be a cool trip. Is this a single guy friendly place - I could bring my dog, too, but I don't want to just be a creepy loner for 3-4 days.

You’ll probably get better responses from the travel board but salt lake was one of my favorite vacation destinations for our family. I wouldn’t hesitate to go by myself if I was in similar circumstances as you describe.

Go skiing. Hook up with a hot chick instructor.

All honesty, I just want to combine a vacation with places I have never been before and watching my team play. Sounds fun. Max out the trip. Our swim team competes in Cary, NC through the 10th so I would fly out of there and into Salt Lake and spend a week or so there,

Was there mid March last year as a single guy and it was cold and snowy for the entire duration. Have you tried skiing before? Maybe worth it to take a day of lessons at park city, brighton, etc. Plenty of good food options there and other places to explore

SLC is awesome

Take a 45min ride up to Park City. Their downtown has a brewery, good food, and a couple fun bars

Park City for spring break is one of my favorites trips. Go have a drink at the St Regis.

Also, don’t pass up the chance to go see some Mormon propaganda videos at the temple square.

Well if you play in the NBA, you should be able to afford it

This is good advice. If you're renting a car I'd stay in Park City and go back to SLC for the games

A good ol' Mormon Soak sounds fun right about now.
