It may have been that the jurors did not get the full scope of what this child went through. If they did, I have no clue how the could convict her.

I hadn't heard of this story until today. I also read she is married to a teacher in Louisiana now. Wonder if she'll be allowed to go to the Bayou State or if he'll have to move to be with her.

There is a Documentary with an interview with Gypsy when she was in jail and her family on Max called Mommy Dead and Dearest.

His sentence should be commuted immediately. I get the optics of an outright pardon, but the governor should get his arse out of jail.
