Problem is they leave California but bring their liberal voting habits with them. Californication. Can't fix stupid.
Normal folks should move to California and vote to turn it normal
Naturally it’s about as beautiful as it gets.

Remember when California was trying to find a way to make people have to continue paying state taxes for five years after moving out of state? Shows 1) just how aware they are of the outflow of the tax base and 2) just how desperate they are to take more money from their people.
I cannot put into words how much I despise those scumbags, and I have never lived in the state.

Assembly Bill 2088 (AB 2088), which was introduced in Sacramento in August of 2020, would impose the state’s first wealth tax. And more controversially, it proposes to levy a wealth tax on Californians for a period of up to 10 years, even after they’ve left the state, a California exit tax.

They are just setting the stage for a federal bailout funded by everyone else.

Wyoming, Montana and Utah next to be Californicated by rich Californians moving there and supporting liberal politicians, laws and taxation.

California should implement more taxes to make up for the loss of tax revenue from people leaving
That's the vicious cycle they created. It's happening in Illinois and NY as well. Increase taxes for their wasteful and harmful social programs, high earners have enough and leave, raise taxes by even more on those who remain to make up for the shortfall, more people leave, you need to raise taxes more on those who remain, rinse and repeat. And as more high earners leave, you will always need to raise taxes exponentially to recover the lost revenue.

Just like when the Democrats’ Covid “relief” spending bailed out blue states which destroyed their own economies, there will be some package that shifts the burden of this from California to all of us.
States should be the laboratories of democracy. Some experiments fail. But if we insulate them against their failures, no lesson is ever learned.

Hmmm..... 5th repeat 5th largest economy in the world. Seems they be doing alright.

A lot of 'em get pissy when they sell their house for cash in CA and they think they can buy twice the house for 1/2 the money in Scottsdale.

We own a business and the state has now changed the collection of sales taxes to monthly when it was previously done on a quarterly basis.

The P&Ls of multinational corporations are doing outstanding. That must mean there isn't any undereducation, poverty and homelessness and a carved out middle class

Everything is over inflated due to regulation and the poor, even middle class struggle to live there.
Its great if youre rich and dont mind massive taxes.

They're the least educated state in the country. Their location and size results in their gdp
