I find it ironic that people run to a message board to post that they don't watch bowl games. It's college football in late December. That's enough for me to catch at least some of it.

It’s a legit question. Why’d you waste your time to respond?

I’ll watch LSU and check in on a few others. Will definitely watch the cfp games.

So you post on a Sports board you DON'T watch sports? Sorry for your loss.

Yes, that’s exactly what I said.

I love it! No way I just wanted to see how others feel.

The crowd and energy in this Tulane VT game makes it enjoyable. Like Bowl games prior to free agency

I can honestly say that I haven’t watched a single down of a single game. Zero.

One of the games was on at the in laws house but I wasn't paying any attention to it, so the above stands.

Parts or all of: UCF-GT,Kansas-UNLV, VT-Tulane

Had a few others on in the background but didn't really pay attention.

Hardly any with all the better players deciding to opt out and watering down the level of play.

Besides, most of the early bowl games have 6-6, 7-5 type teams playing against each other, so mediocre talent at best in the early games.

I'm waiting for the run at the National Championship Game with some of the top teams playing each other.

At least 13.

Its football. Its better than not-football. I can watch Not-football 8 months a year.

The bitching about it is stupid.

I fell asleep during the Tulane game. Does that count?

Damn there’s a lot of people bragging about not watching sports on a sports board.

Not to be an advocate for gambling but throw $10 on either side. You’ll be more emotionally involved than any movie you’ve paid to see in the last few years.

Ditto. I have watched absolutely zero due to everything you stated.

The kids playing on the field seem to be having fun. It’s still a game.

I guess sometimes it’s decent to watch.

I’m currently looking at SMU play BC in a mostly-empty Fenway park while it’s 45 degrees and raining at 11AM on a Thursday.

Most bowl games today are on this end of the depressing-as-hell spectrum.

I think most of us want to like watching bowl games again, but the powers that be have done a fine job of making them very hard to watch.

With the opt outs and the transfer portal, I can't get into them.

Thank you. What better place to discuss a loss of interest in something sports related than on a sports board?

Who's bragging? I think it's disappointing. I just don't care about most of these games. I barely care about the Cotton Bowl, I didn't watch the LV Bowl, and probably won't watch the Peach Bowl. I have no interest in any other teams or the outcome of any other bowl games, including the "playoff" games.

It sucks, but that's where we are in 2023.
