As of the end of the BGSU/Minnesota game, there have been 18 bowl games played up to now. I can honestly say that I haven’t watched a single down of a single game. Zero.

That’s not to brag, but I just don’t have any interest anymore. There are far too many games with far too many crappy teams, not to mention the opt-outs. I’ll watch LSU and the CFP games, but that’s probably going to be it.

If today’s me had told 25 years ago me that, that guy would have called me crazy.

I forgot that bowl season even started. Not only have I not watched any, but I don’t know the results of any.

This was always the case, at least from the mid-90's on.

You're just older now and, while you still hold your fandom, you also realize how trivial college football and sports in general is compared to when you were a kid and thought it was the most important thing on the planet.

I watched the first quarter of the New Mexico Bowl because it might be the only time in my life that New Mexico State is playing in a bowl game.

This isn’t about making myself feel better. I’m just seeing how many people are having a common experience. Seems like quite a few.

Does watching extensive coverage of a backup QB's wedding plans count?

I don’t know. I was still watching most of the games until 2020. It’s like COVID and the lockdowns flipped a switch. I can’t even attempt to explain it.

I find it ironic that people run to a message board to post that they don't watch bowl games.

It's college football in late December. That's enough for me to catch at least some of it.

Is this for real? I've watched about 5 quarters or so thus far. This is hard to believe.

I'm interested in the night game tonight, however - Kansass and UNLV.

Arizona-Oklahoma is the first game I am somewhat interested in, then I’ll watch for a few days.

I’ve watched a few here and there but haven’t really watched a full game yet

I’m going to the Mayo bowl tomorrow which should be fun. But UNC hasn’t even come close to selling their tickets. They are even on Ticketmaster and seetgeek on the UNC side for FV. We sold out out allocation in one day and they opened up the the upper deck for WVU fans. We are going to out number them big time. Really thought it would be like when we played them last time in Charlotte being a sell out split done the middle 50/50.

I’m just there to drink and swear at Neal Brown.

Ignoring all the politically-charged shite that happened because of it and during it, I think the pandemic was a shock-to-the-system that made a lot of people shrink down the list of things they valued or viewed as important.
