I have many that I remember fondly, but this one I stands out after all these years.

What’s funny is the Christmas I got it, it wasn’t even the main gift I got, nor was I the most excited about it. That Christmas morning it was just one of many, mostly Star Wars, gifts Santa brought. But looking back, I think I played with this toy more than any other.

Found a saddle under the Christmas tree. There was a pony outside.

My parents were staunchly anti-electronics, but my grandpa pulled rank and surprised me (and them) and showed up with this badass machine, along with SSX Tricky. I was flabbergasted

This is the 38th yr in a row that I did not get the GI Joe aircraft carrier for Christmas. But I got the AT-AT, and a model 70 243 Win when I was 10, got an Auto-5 20 ga mag when I was 12.

Maybe the age or something but that one really hits home. That early HM mysticism was so bizarre but cool.

Sears Video Arcade was a rebadged Atari 2600, but came with a better game (I forget which one). Man I couldn’t sleep the night before. I played the shite out of that thing.
