Last Time A Commercial Made You Buy Something?

Seriously.. commercials suck these days. Some are even made to be annoying (the one of the woman singing off key on the radio comes to mind). No way commercials are made to sell products. There’s been more than one that has made me swear off ever buying an item cause the commercial was so bad. Like the Old Spice commercials. What is their angle? Surely it’s not to promote their product?

I bought a Spyra 2 water gun based off of a Facebook add. It’s like a super soaker on steroids. They have an electric one too. Very happy with the purchase.

Bought a Dr Pepper a few weeks ago after seeing Dr Pepper commercials all day while watching college football. Hate all of the stupid Insurance commercials.

I’ve thought about this before - I honestly do not think I’ve ever bought something strictly off of a commercial or ad. I’m always annoyed when they pop up so I’ll scroll by them quickly (or then the channel/mute). BUT maybe subconsciously I’ve purchased something in the future based off a faint memory of the commercial and knowing the product, but I couldn’t give an example.

Luckily unless I'm watching a football game, I don't see commercials.

When Vince told me I was going to “love his nuts” I ordered three slap chops and a sham-wow just to dry off.

If a commercial uses choreographed dancing, I make it a point to never purchase whatever product they are selling.
That is if I watch long enough to find out what they are selling.

Some Cerekote headlight cleaner. Worked so good, I bought another for the wife's car.
