This is a purely political hire. Landry has bigger aspirations than being Gov. this chick is tied to Trump and Kristi Noem. LAWLF is already a huge clusterfrick. I guess we will see what she can do.

I spoke with her today after the press conference. Very intelligent. She is a hunter and a degree from Ohio state. I can’t remember for sure but the best I can remember it was biology and agriculture. She said they were going to look at the bear situation to see about a real season. Also spoke about the hog problem and the bogie boats. I don’t think she will be pushed around. She did not talk nor act like your normal young person of these days.

Def all politics. I expect Clark to be running the actual department with his background and basically be the next department head once this girl has moved on. I’m hoping for the best. Sometimes, a leader doesn’t have to know everything about a department, but just needs to have right team to count on and have accountability. We will see

Bahaha a 26 year old from an incredibly wealthy family and crewed at Ohio State is going to have a time trying to understand them south Louisiana baws. There will need to be an interpreter for the first year to year and a half.

All of his cabinet appointees appear to have been made by Trump. Similar appointments as agency heads elsewhere, and many senior civil servants opting to retire.
