49ers Ravens Superbowl 4th down no call PI on Crabtree. Didn't even have to be PI it could've just been holding. I get that the refs like to "let them just go out there and play" in the playoffs but that was a terrible no call.

Don't forget about the power mysteriously going out when the game was getting out of hand.

Tennessee Offsides
This proves the annoucers can hear what the refs are talking about...FYI...Missouri ended up winning the division that year.

Agreed.
4 Southern California refs with Bill Vinovich not even getting his fellow refs to huddle to get the correct call. This call was blatant and right out in the open.

Watch that play again in real time. It was clean defending despite what the low iq fans want to think.
The GaslightMan seems more appropriate.

Kent Hrbek lifting Ron Gants leg off of first base in the World Series and the ump calling Gant out.

The non call in the nfccg in the dome.
The interference call in the OSU-Miami game.Dez bryant caught that ball.

Dez Bryant no catch in Green Bay was a terrible call.

Saints no-call
Not giving the ball to Marshawn Lynch
LSU retaining Les Miles
Tuck rule origin
Alabama’s free reign to use an implemented transfer portal and NIL since 2007

Somehow the refs gave the ball to Oregon without seeing who had the football.
Did the guy dancing around with the ball ever go up the ref and show him??

This was as bad as anything I've ever seen. They reviewed it for 5 minutes and they kept it as Oregon's ball even though Oregon touched it before it went 10 yards and Oklahoma recovered the kick anyways.
the craziest thing about that to me is that it was the opening weekend (i think, for sure the opening season) of official review and everybody and their dog could tell that it got touched before 10 yards and OU recovered it anyways.
there are pass interferences, "did the ball cross the line," did the ball hit the ground, etc. where 1,000 different cameras couldn't tell you the right answer, but that one was just painfully obvious.

That was certainly not the biggest botch job in the history of sports.
The entirety of calls that night against OSU could be in the running for "worst called game" of all time, along with that Rockets game against GS 5ish years ago.
However, to me the immediate ones were the basketball one in the olympics and the Saints PI call

Saints trading an entire draft and another first for Ricky Williams.
As a young Saints fan I was still so hyped when we got Ricky. I didn't care at the time what we gave away.

It quite literally prompted a rule change. PI (for a time) was something coaches could challenge after that call.
It's a call that almost assuredly changed the outcome of the game. If Lewis is not interfered with it is a first down. If the flag is thrown it is a first down. Either way, it would have allowed the Saints to run the clock down an try a short game winning FG with time expiring. It wasn't a regular season game that took away a perfect game. It was a botch call that kept a team from playing for a Championship.

Yeah, I wouldn’t say it was botched. Same with 1972 men’s basketball.
These went exactly according to plan, they were just truly corrupt.
Agreed. The Olympic stuff was deliberately crooked.
5th down is the biggest to me. It wasn't just a terrible call like some of the other examples given. An entire officiating crew forgot how to count to four, and it allowed CU to win a share of the national championship.

For me personally as a LSU fan... it's the decision Gundy makes in the Oklahoma State vs Iowa State game in 2011... if he just runs the ball on 4&1(inches really) instead of missing a damn field goal...they win the game... which sends them to the BCS championship game instead of Bama...

I might be wrong but i wanna say this was the same day as the LSU-Auburn pass interference game
This is correct.
The LSU/Auburn game was the most blatantly rigged game I've ever witnessed in CFB. Even worse than anything Bama has done (in a single game). The SEC makes WWE look like childs play to this day.
