Look at the sick people in here defending this disgusting satanic behavior. This country needs a reckoning and I hope you minions of Satan are on the receiving end of it.

So you want the government to decide which religions are valid to be practiced at schools?

You can either allow none or allow all.

The Christians fought hard to be able to have religious clubs at schools, so now everyone can.

The first amendment is now" leftist"?

Because these seem to be the only people honoring it

These people are no different than the Westboro Baptist people who protest service member funerals. They have the right to do it, but that doesn’t make it right

You’re a piece of shite, end of story

It's not a religion. Just a group of dorks screaming for attention.

Being anti christian is not a religion. Thats all this is, and when this country truly breaks apart at the seams people like you will reap what you have sown.

Correct. They’re activists that do this sort of thing to find idiots in local positions who will infringe their rights

Yet our resident dumbfrick liberals think it’s a gotcha and say see! The Maga christians are hypocrites!

No you tards. Practice a little intellectual honesty for once in your lives

The Satanic Temple says it’s been designated a church by the Internal Revenue Service.

The Salem, Massachusetts-based organization provided The Associated Press with a notice it recently received communicating its new tax-exempt status. The letter used a code that classifies it as a “church or a convention or association of churches.”

The group is now listed in an IRS database for tax-exempt organizations. An email seeking comment was sent to the IRS.

The group says the designation will help in religious discrimination legal cases and allow it to pursue faith-based government grants.

It sounds like some national deal. Do they even have any kids that would want to join? I bet any girls would be some real heifers.

So then according to the first amendment it belings in our schools more than the religious groups.

Bitch and moan all you want but its pretty cut and dry
quote:

If a public secondary school permits student groups to meet for student-initiated activities not directly related to the school curriculum, then it is required to treat all such student groups equally. This means the school cannot discriminate against any students conducting such meetings “on the basis of the religious, political, philosophical, or other content of the speech at such meetings.” This language was used to make clear that religious speech was to receive equal treatment, not preferred treatment.

It's not easy to get church status from the IRS. Scientology tried for decades.

You can't just dismiss them because it makes your "argument" easier.

And I have professed my personal disdain for the try hards in TST/COS pretty much every time ignorant Christians melt down on here about them. They're still right on a fundamental level with respect to the rule of law and Constitutional rights.

I’ll never understand why they would call themselves Satanic if they’re claiming to be non religious. Call it atheism for what it is.
Satan is both culturally and religiously the personification of evil, so if they aren’t worshiping evil then their name is just a dumb grasp for attention and uproar.

I don't care. They tell you they worship nothing. It's not a religion regardless of their machinations with the IRS. You know it too. You're going to keep on though.

No deities.

You don't need gods for a church/religion.

Hundreds of millions of Buddhists are considered part of a religion and they're atheists. OG Taoists, too. There are lots of other non-Western religions that don't really worship gods, and countless spinoffs (especially of Hinduism).

Of course you don't care about your "argument" being destroyed.
