No way Cook plays now

NCAA will win this, yea these players won’t play now

You know if the ncaa would have flat out said no one will be allowed transfer twice ,barring a special case and actually laid out criteria of how the special case works, no one would be having these problems yet here the ncaa is doing shite arse backwards and winging things like usual and picking and choosing at its own discretion

What’s the whole point of an injunction if you threaten them?

This has always been the issue with the NCAA. There is no transparency with decisions that they make, but that's a design, not a fault. Arbitrarily being able to enforce rules allows them to make sure that at the end of the day they are taking home the largest check possible while keeping up the appearance of being a "non-profit serving student-athletes".

The NCAA'S record in court is 0-128632567.
I'd take my chances if I was Cook and LSU.

The judge needs to slap them.

I’ve yet to understand why any school associates with the NCAA. Minus the clearinghouse for school purposes, they are virtually worthless.

That would seem to violate the court’s ruling.

Every school in the NCAA needs to sue the NCAA over this crap! All the NCAA is doing is getting in a pissing match with the federal government to have the last word in the matter. The colleges need to sue the NCAA until it’s worthless and create something new.

Sounds like intimidation and coercion to me.

I would rule NCAA into court for contempt of TRO. NCAA is trying to intimidate players in violation of the court order.

Scott isn’t taking any chances with the ncaa. He is on his knees for them

LSU would have to care about men’s basketball first. Not gonna happen

Cook may still play. He didn't seem interested in playing beyond this season if he played, so he may not have been interested in using his covid year beyond next if he couldn't play until next year.
Having that extra year would allow him to play again next year even if he burns this year on a couple of games.
Playing also delivers the promise to the NCAA that a lawsuit will be incoming. A big one the will almost assuredly lose.
Plus the judge seems likely to fully allow the players to play when he reaches his final decision on the 26nd.

Pretty sure that's the exact opposite of what the judges ruling said. NCAA apparently wants to get bitch slapped.

Does it matter? Let him play! Not like we are playing for a national championship
