All this Jayden Daniels talk reminds me we should get Daniel Jones

The Giants are about done with him and he would be better with a solid team and coach such as the Saints. I can see a trade happening for Daniel. Maybe Daniel for Lattimore and Davis.

The only QB the saints can bring in is a rookie. owe Carr like $45M next season regardless if he is on the team or not. Can't do another $40M for anyone especially Daniel Jones.

I know it’s a prerequisite on this board to hate the starting QB and love any other QB (if if you hated him previously - Winston, Dalton, etc.).
But Daniel Jones sucks and isn’t as good as Carr is. Carr’s ceiling is about 10th or 11th best QB. His floor is about 22nd best QB. Daniel Jones ceiling is about 16th best QB and his floor is closer to 24/25th best QB.

Unless they fire Pete and hire a guy with a system that can utilize Daniels legs, the Saints would be doing that kid a disservice by drafting him. Just watch every play Taysom Hill is in. Now plug in Daniels. Not a good scenario.

Daniel Jones would be good on the saints, I agree. He has a bottom 5 OL and throws to Slayton, Sterling Shepard and a washed arse Waller. He won a playoff game on the road last year with his best player being Saquon
