99 percent of the time I take the cops side (even in the George Floyd case) but this is abject cruelty. Great job officer! Way to go and prove that cops aren't racist and women should be cops! Nice job!

There's not very much before and after the part you can see.

I assume that was her gun she put on the hood of the car and not one she just found on him.

My guess is that they were on the ground to begin with because he was resisting or in some way being a donkey and she was getting revenge on him for that.

But that's only a guess.

If so, she's screwed. You can't tase them just because they made you mad two minutes prior.

Supposedly this guy was trafficking fentanyl. If thats the case I don't care. I have no sympathy for people drug traffickers.

But to your point, women should not be officers. At least in a positition where they have to handle grown men. They clearly can't physically control their suspects, and are therefor going to be more reliant on tasers and lethal force.

he wasnt tased at all, this is pure BS

when tased his legs and body would be stiff and straight, and his feet would be off the ground when he got tased, none of that ever happened.

all she did was hold a taser to his back, the video proves she wasnt pulling the trigger

I don't want cops in Alabama (or anywhere) to also be the judge and executor of the sentence. Call me crazy.

Idc if you don’t have sympathy. He has rights until proven guilty and “supposedly” isn’t an announcement of guilt.

In addition, she has decorum and protocol she must follow and he wasn’t resisting at that moment and she expressed pride In her Control over him. We’ve all seen cops have a power trip

You seemed pretty silent about Ashly Babbit and Roseanne Boyland who were simply protesting, but the violins and tears come out for the fentanyl boys.

She had already discharged the taser and you could hear it.

At least he wasn't killed like the guy in Bibb county the same weekend. He was White so it doesn't really matter though.

Huh? You can clearly hear the taser and see her squeeze it.

She's a very small woman up against a large man and looking at his attitude of constantly bitching at her I give her an A of calming him down to put him inside squad car

She did a good job of controlling him while the passenger is filming the arrest

Screw those who criticize her actions

You good with arresting Michael Byrd and giving him the same treatment as Derek Chauvin?

Eurocat you are crazy.......she wasn't going to execute him but he had a gun on him which she removed then just gave him an erection on the car for him telling her he had no weapon.

I'd like to see Eurocat handle this guy without being overcome or having suspect run away and the passenger getting into car and picking him up down road after she is outrun down the road.

She was by herself with two suspects to deal with.

Well... it is Alabama. It's still Hazard County style Law there. The cops pretty much do whatever they want, wheneever they want. If they say your guilty, youre guilty. Even if youre innocent. The Good Ole Boy Network is alive and well in Alabama. Believe that.

That's a very low-IQ stance, but not a surprising one on this board.

You are personally hillbilly butthurt about crime X, so you don't care if an alleged perp has his rights violated due to that alleged crime (remember, at this point nothing has been proven and by our system he's still innocent), but what happens if someone gets their rights violated about a crime that you aren't especially hillbilly butthurt about?

That's not how rights work. They don't apply for people you like and don't apply for people you don't like. That's exactly why what's going on with Trump is malicious prosecution and a violation of the equal protection clause. They aren't supposed to be able to investigate him without sufficient probable cause and prosecute him while giving every other citizen in the country a pass for the same stuff just because they hate him.

Don't be a leftist.
