I think the main take away is to look at the improvement between last year and this year. Kelly, Sloan, Denbrock, the S&C team and whomever JD5 used over the summer all had a hand in shaping/molding but JD5 had to put in the work.

Not really, BK did an interview a couple weeks ago and said when JD transferred here he did not know much about him
As to the OP, BK gets all the credit from me. He’s had a history of overachieving QBs, just none with the raw talent of Jayden. I remember he gave a pretty detailed plan for what they were going to do with JD in the offseason. It was damn impressive & had me feeling excited. Well, what you saw this year was the result of the plan. He’s truly the mastermind of all this.

Can’t underestimate the impact Marucci’s VR work with him has had in his development too.

I think that was the connection to LSU. BK recruited him before he went to ASU. I do give BK credit for it. His comments I referred to were just in regard to whether they thought he was THAT good.

I confess. He improved more in one off season than any other QB I have seen.
From reports from the Coaches, he deserves the credit. Like Joe, he put in the hours and made himself into a Champion. The lack of adefense prevented him from getting the trophy.

100%, just like he gets 100% blame for the defense and 100% responsibility for the 9-3 record. He is the head coach. Everything is 100% him or someone he hired…so him.
