Trump has already been found guilty of fraud. It's now just a matter of the amount of penalties that his company will have to pay. Go on.

Literally anybody with real estate experience was saying months ago this case is retarded because the bank does its own due diligence when writing loans and doesn’t just accept whatever information they are given.

Where are the shills now?

It’s a civil matter, brah. Guilt isn’t determined in a civil matter. You must have missed that point in law school.

Seems like people think my comment was just fine. You on the other hand have been trying to get my attention all day, even on the SEC rant.

They not trying to win, that's just cherry on top if they can. Its all about making him look bad to lose votes, just like the other trials.

It does not matter in this "fraud" trial. Under NY law, Deutsche Bank does not even have to be an aggrieved party. This is done by the state on "behalf of the taxpayers and citizens"

It's an abuse of the state's powers. The idea was to keep everything as transparent as can be to keep the process at arm's length.

If the pendulum ever swings the other way... it'll be an absolute deep clean of American politicians, from the highest federal appointment down to the local jailer

This will have to be overturned on appeal. Anyone is a fool who does not believe this judge is going to rule against Trump.

No doubt about it. The judge already decided the case before hearing opening statements.

Wow. Another sheep of the media. The media said he didn't want a jury because his peers would see how guilty he was amd Trump didn't want the bad perception, that he was scared basically.

When will people do their own research when something is reported? The media lies about almost everything. From the weather to the stock market

I do not believe the local tax assessor goes by the financials Trump sends to the bank to assess property taxes.

They assess it through other metrics. So in my opinion the local government is not a victim.

What I don't understand is what law are they using that allows them to go after someone on behalf of a non-victim in the name of said non-victim?

It's under US Code OMB 1.6.21
