“But the shot saved countless lives” is the only talking point you’ll hear.

A LOT of posters will be defensive in this thread but it’s all just veiled regret.

Yikes.

And that likely the most fit subset of our nation; I would imagine the impact is even worse percent wise for the average man.

20 years ago, a study came out showing that HRT used in menopausal women led to a 24% increase in cardiovascular disease. The reaction was swift and severe in believing that HRT was more damaging than the life-debilitating effects many women experience during menopause. HRT had an extensive history of improving the quality of life for many women, but the study revealed that it was increasing heart issues at - apparently - an alarming rate.

Yet when looking closer at the results, one could see that it was an increase of 4/1000 to 5/1000 in a randomized control trial.

So a small, subtle increase was a cause for alarm that impacted how many thought menopause should be addressed.

Yet these numbers showing significant increases in cardiovascular issues after the covid vaccine aren’t worth considering, and if you lean on them for your opinion on the vaccine, you’re considered a social pariah, a detriment to the well being of society.

Lunacy.

Here come the "above the fray!" moderates to tell you this is merely anecdotal.

Military obesity rates across the active duty jumped from 10.4 percent in 2012 to 21.6 percent in 2022, according to the study, the findings of which were released on Oct. 12. This mirrors a national trend that has shrunk the military’s recruitment pool and led to billions of dollars in associated health care costs.

Today, 68 percent of active-duty servicemembers are either overweight or obese, and eating disorders in the military increased by approximately 79 percent between 2017 and 2021, the report said.

Here's the thing: If you want to get the shot, get the shot.

If you don't, don't.

In other words, MYOFB!!

Be honest. Any source that doesn't deviate from the government mandated line is okay with you. Any source that conflicts with the party line one iota is to be ridiculed and disregarded.
