Costco sells them.
Trader Joe's has some frozen that thaw and proof that are good.
I've made them, but it's a ridiculous amount of butter and folding. The crumbly result is worth it once or twice a year.

I'll second La Madeleine's if you are going to eat at the restaurant. If you're warming it up at your house, Sam's Club has better ones than Costco.

Cici’s has warm butter croissants. I’m not a croissant connoisseur so not sure how it compares to others.

I have yet to find a bakery or cafe that serves up a quality, fresh croissant. I am hoping someone in here comes up with a hidden gem.

Trader Joe's used to carry frozen croissants that you needed to leave out overnight that were absolutely delicious, almost better than Delmont Pastries that sells to local restaurants (or used to). They still carry them but they are the smaller size now.

The freshest and best croissants that are made in house are at The Fresh Market. Split them, put a little butter in a skillet, brown and serve.

Sam's for honorable mention (better than Costco).
