I guess LSU considers Alabama their biggest rivalry,

Our biggest rival used to be Ole Miss, but y’all have descended into a such a deep and permanent state of suck, that now that “rivalry” fails to excite fans any more.

Over the last 20 years or so, Alabama has become our biggest rival because they present our primary obstacle to getting to Atlanta…..something you would know nothing about.

the way this year was probably their best chance to finally get to Atlanta with a not as strong LSU/Bama, until reality struck once again

It's an odd time to have a complex like this. This must've been on your mind for some time. I hope you find what you're looking for.

Excuse me.. 2 of the last 3.

Kinda sucks that you beat us this year, and no one gives a shite about you...It's all Jayden Daniels all the time, so even in an off year (any year ole miss beats lsu is an off year), LSU gets more attention.

At least you have the last baseball championsh...oh wait.

Well, Ole Miss was good enough to beat LSU this year... and more often than LSU beats Alabama.

How many years has it been since you beat Bama now? Your coach seems to think popcorn will help.

And wow, you guys are .500 with us under Freshwater. But we all know that’s the best you can ever hope for. When was OM’s last 3+ game win streak over LSU? We’ve had streaks of 6, 5 and 3 this century over you. Why can’t your program manage the same?

I’ll just keep all the West, SEC and National titles we have this century out of it. That just wouldn’t be fair to a fanbase that has long given up on the idea of ever winning one again.

guess LSU considers Alabama their biggest rivalry, but do you think they do?? Of the last 11 years Bama has won 11 of 13 games. Ole Miss has a better record vs LSU.

If you go back to the year 2000 we have beaten Alabama 11 times

The youngins have forgotten that in the olden days Ole Miss used to beat LSU regularly. Ole Miss is and always has been LSU's biggest rival. Alabama's will always be Auburn and then Tennessee after that.

I'm just baffled that LSU considers Alabama a "rival". I have friends who are Alabama fans. They consider Auburn their rival. It's called the Iron Bowl. You're right that a record doesn't make one arrival necessarily, but if the history suggested that many of the games were close in terms of win/losses, it would lend to a rivalry per se.

LSU doesn’t have 1 rival above the others. We have 8 equal rivals.

Yet the series record is what it is. They were a program of similar stature for a period under one coach, but LSU has dominated this series since Vaught retired.

Of the last 10 years? Twice. Just like LSU has. Auburn, 3 wins.

dude, you're trying to hard. True, old-school LSU fans do NOT consider ALA a rival. It was always Tulane and Ole Miss.

Old Miss is not a pimple on anybody’s butt. What a garbage university it is - in every possible way. I mean think about this; its nickname is a representation of Old Mississippi. The people associated with it are pompous wannabe types (think they’re better than other folks). That equals sh_t.
