Leftovers Zorba’s
They had a pasta special. Tagliatelle in a tomato sauce I couldn’t begin to replicate with a lamb and pork meatball with an incredible cheese factor. There was also a crunch element to top everything that set it off. Huge shout out to those folks

Toad in the hole. Seriously, I was watching a British cooking show and decided to give it a go. Came out pretty good.

Meatloaf made with pork instead of beef. That was a first for me.
Corn, potatoes and brown onion gravey.

Broiled salmon with zucchini, yellow squash and red onions.
The leg on our 109 year old Mahagony dining room table snapped off right after dinner, so now I have a repair job to complete before Thanksgiving lunch. I can do it, but the repair needs to be strong and invisible when I complete it. At least it didn't happen this coming Thursday morning when we will be cooking.
Maybe sometime tomorrow I will be able to laugh about it. At least I have lots of clamps. It will be a three-step repair. Step one is completed and well clamped. Step two when I wake up tomorrow morning and maybe step three late tomorrow.
