Gen X and Boomers are pretty much identical in terms of political views.

Our generation, Gen Z, is probably the most effeminate, softest, and whiniest generation in the history generations. Arguably softer than millenials.

Millenials might be mostly progs, but they know when to separate social media from reality.

He has obviously never lived in Argentina. I have. Married to one. “El Gaucho” would never survive there.

I’m a xennial

quote:

In 2020, Xennial was added to the Oxford Dictionary of English. It was added to the Oxford English Dictionary in 2021:[3] Xennial, n. and adj.: “A person born between the late 1970s and early 1980s, after (or towards the end of) Generation X and before (or at the beginning of) the millennial”

quote:

These years are chosen because they mark the end of Generation X and the beginning of the Millennial generation. Xennials are characterized by their unique experience of straddling the line between these two major generational cohorts. They had an analog childhood and a digital young adulthood, experiencing the shift from traditional forms of communication and entertainment to the digital age during their formative years.

We spent time learning cursive to oh shite need typing class now. Or keyboarding I think it was called.

It's easy when your dick is long. Other generations wouldn't understand.

We had to learn to be self-sufficient because our parents are fricked up like a soup sandwich.

Gen x is not softer than boomers? I don’t think so. But they are the last generation that is mostly grounded in reality and common sense.

And then y’all told Boomers to hold your beer and showed them what really shitty parenting is and created the worst generation of losers ever.

Umm... to prove the point of the thread. I'm early Gen X. I seem to recall us decimating one of the largest armies on the planet in a few months.

So yeah, we did. We were just really good at it. I know, I was there.

What is the generally accepted birth year range for millennials?

I am seeing range of 1981–1996 where they would now be from 27 years old to 42 years old. I definitely know some that have zoomer kids that have graduated high school or even college. Some unplanned kids born before 21st century.

The range for these labels are pushing it, but baby boomers 1946 to 1964 is just dumb. Classifying a kid conceived soon after WWII ended that saw segregation end when old enough to understand including possibly in their own schools, in high school when Kennedy shot, and some part of Vietnam, draft, later 60s to early 70s as a young adult in same generation as someone who graduated high school and turned 18 under Reagan while watching MTV, ESPN, & scrambled late night cable doesn’t make sense.

Gaucho is absolutely killing in this thread. Piling up bodies like a communist dictator.
