Should have done it two years ago, ride him for a couple weeks then ship him off before it’s too late.

Seems Zion AND Brandon were BOTH born in North Carolina...and I'm startin' to really like Brandon Miller of the CHARLOTTE Hornets. Maybe one of our Pels would like to get back closer to "home"...and maybe the folks back home would like to see that happen. Jes sayin'...

Let’s go get Scoot

Fortunately, he hasn’t blown up yet.

Probably still a viable trade for both teams.

Portland gets star power

Zion gets Portland (reportedly a preferred destination)

Pels get a young point guard with elite character and leadership skills

It would take a desperate team. Knicks make the most sense with CAA-Rose connection, RJ Barrett there, the years of rumors and Big Apple wanting an entertainment hype star.

Only thing- Pels wouldn't want Randle, and Knicks would really want to keep Robinson to cover for Z's bad D.

Quickley, Grimes, Hartenstein, many picks to NOP

Zion, Nance to NYK

Randle to 3rd team

Don’t hate it, but quickly needs to be paid soon, and so does trey. It would be tough to pay both while still having one of BI or CJ on the roster

Honestly if charlotte gave me Brandon Miller, mark williams and a 1st I would jump all over that. I doubt they would offer that though

Nothing because Zion is worth far more than any team can pay for him.

Ingram is the one you should be asking about, he is the non winning player, not Zion

If we are forced to trade him this season I want to punish him. I'd send him to the Wizards, make him play with Poole. I'd take pennies on the dollar.

Zion and Lewis for Jones, Gafford, Kispert and '24-1st unprotected. We might get a top 3 pick out of it..

Let's see who asks for a trade first - Ingram or Zion?
Let's see who comes up with a mysterious injury with no timetable for return?

Why not trade both? They are both equally to blame for our current situation. Let's build around our great young core (Hawkins, Daniels, Murphy and Jones). Load up on picks and movable contracts.

A team built around that core, plus McCollum, Val and a few role players is a .500 team this year. Which should be good enough for the playin. I'd be excited to see that moving forward..

Don't tempt me with a good time.

But for real, there's no way griff can convince gayle to trade both zion and BI and go with a youth movement. If we go to a rebuild then Griff is probably gone.

I would honestly rather watch CJ plus a bunch of young dudes than watch Zion waddle around the court and BI dribble into yet another middie

He’s ours for better or worse. We couldn’t get 30 cents on the dollar for him right now. He’s clearly not in basketball shape yet and if the average fan can tell that you know the coaches who see him daily can. Maybe they are trying to make a point to him by running more plays to CJ or BI or Jonas that they aren’t sure he’s capable of leading them right now. He’s an easy 15-20 lbs over his playing weight but if he’d stick with a solid diet just playing in games and practice will knock that off him in a couple weeks.

So trade the one with superstar potential and keep the one who's game is outdated?

Would be an absolute haul of picks. 3 unprotected with 2-3 swaps, plus a few good players.

And building around Trey, Dyson and Hawkins? Not really an exciting proposition.

Zion is the best chance this org has of doing anything in this league. They have squandered cp3 and Anthony Davis, and now y’all want to move on from zion.

This team has not done enough to surround z with the squad he needs. Hand him the damn keys, stop being cute about it. This is his city, his team, act like it.

Y’all want him gone so bad, wait till he dominates for another team and is doing 360 dunks on Jordan Hawkins.

The issue is the org and the coaching staff. Blunder after blunder, not using picks etc. how long we going to suffer 3rd quarter meltdowns? How long are we going to watch this team and just scratch our heads at how poor the product is, how bad the schemes are, why there is no damn pick and roll action. How long we gonna watch piss poor defense and effort and wide open 3s from the other team? Product is embarrassing to watch, but y’all wanna move on from zion? Lmao you get what you deserve I guess.

You're acting like Zion has done nothing wrong. He's part of the problem. He cant get in shape, he gives zero shites, and he hasn't improved one thing since he entered the league

So you’re saying we have absolutely zero chance
