Is this the lowest point of the Griffin era?

Both of our "stars" are playing and we are getting our asses absolutely kicked in.

Multiple injuries as per usual, some of which that are taking much longer than you would expect to heal (as usual).

Team is getting very passive aggressive and looks to not like each other at all at times.

Body language is beyond terrible.

Yup and Gayle will probably extend his arse. Ownership is a part of this mess.

Griffin is a "culture" guy to which the culture has gone to shite.

Depends.

Griff has shown a willingness to admit mistakes and move on from players, hopefully he does that with Ingram, then I will start to rejudge him.

Currently, its not good, and Ive been a huge Griff apologist.

Easily not. The B.I. injury no zion all year 3-14 start was two years ago. Far lower point.

We could pretend like we had hope at that point.

Do we have hope now?

Having both your stars and losing the way they're losing is kind of worst.

They handed the keys to Ingram when Jrue left. That's part of the problem, why should Ingram change? From his perspective he's the guy that got the team to the Playoffs and Playins while Zion was sitting on the sidelines. He's the guy that took Phoenix (without Booker) to 6 that one time.

Zion is going to have to take the keys from BI, which he won't be able to do until he becomes a dominant player again.

He will never be able to because the front office and coaching staff at every turn will continue to deflect attention from Zion and push Ingram.

He may think this, but with a 36-46 record and dodging SGA and PG in the play in thats the only reason we made the playoffs.

Playins

Had Zion not led the team on that long winning streak in December we don’t make the play-in last year. Something else Ingram should be able to see but I know he doesn’t

It's a mix of all the worst ingredients.

Injury
Zion fat
Ingram
Ingram/Zion chemistry
Schedule (39-17 combined record of the team's that beat us)

Just get rid of one or two of the symptoms and this shite will get better.

You don't have to convince me, BI is the one that doesn't see he's part of the problem.

I'd be shocked if Griffin traded BI but he needs to as paying him top $$$ will drive this franchise into some serious dark years. Griffin signing him long term would mean the final nail in the Griffin coffin but the damage would already be done. Such a shite feeling as a fan.

I think having a real pro like CJ off the court shows how little leadership this team has without him.

Griff and Langdon have a good roster and the results are more roster construction. It is/has been bad since they signed a done Derrick Favors. They have ignored the NBA trend of longer more athletic lineups in the frontcourt. Neither BI nor Zion give you much of an interior presence defensively and Zion is below-to-average rebounding for the PF position. All this knowing that the team assembled is best off transition opportunities. They've known the issue since 2019 and have tried in succession Favors, Adams, and now Val with little success.

The problem is injuries by both players have delayed the progress. Hard to assess and build rosters when both superstars aren’t on the court at the same time. I can’t put that on Griffin. But now we’re seeing it, up to Griffin to fix it.

I can't wait for this to be Trey's team. Dude is going to go ape shite when he's back. BLEE DAT. He's got that dawg in him, too. He will be our alpha dog that's needed in the future.

Thats why addition by substraction. The sixers shipped off harden and inserted Maxey. We could ship off BI and give this team to Trey.
