I never posted it on here but I was very much not a fan heading into the season. I thought there was no way a player of his advanced age and experience would develop into anything more than what he was. Jayden has proven me and everyone that doubted him wrong. It’s easy for some of what he is doing to be lost on us because of the defense, having just had Joe Burrow, and human nature; but it is truly incredible. People use the term “like a video game” but what he did last night truly was that. It just doesn’t happen. It shouldn’t be that easy. It is for him. I will never doubt him again and I will not doubt his ability to play in the NFL. He very clearly is unusual and traditional logic does not apply. I’m really glad I was wrong.

There were plenty that should be lining up for this buffet, but none of them will show. Just the nature of being a massive pussy.

Bro what week is it? Lol.

Every single person in this site has acknowledged that JD is the 2nd best QB in school history for like 5 weeks lol

I was a Jayden fan, But his transformation has been incredible. Accuracy is hard to teach, he found a way! Lots of pros don't improve accuracy! Props to his hard work.

Frick your "crow" if you were one of those who demanded that Nuss should be the starter after everything Daniels accomplished last year. It just shows how much of a hypocrite you are. You expected Daniels to spin lead into gold in order to prove himself but you were willing to hand the job to Nuss based on hearsay and a spring game (LOL).

Daniels has pretty much admitted that he was hesitant with his reads and tucked and ran too quick last year. The criticism was warranted. I’m just glad the light went on this year.

He's a completely different QB than he was last year and improved in all the ways he needed to over the season.

After the FSU game I had my doubts but he's quashed those, even with the losses.

If we had a halfway competent D, we'd be in the playoff running.

He deserves the heisman and any other accolades he might get. Phenomenal QB whose field awareness has massively improved.

Last year people (rightly) griped that he was a one read and run QB. Now he's making his progressions extremely quickly and able to turn busted plays to big plays.

We don't get as far as we have without him and it's a travesty that the defense has let the other side of the ball down, negatively affecting his achievements.

I hope he takes the heisman, he is a true tiger and 2nd only to the one and only Joe Burrow. And that is quite the company

Well, what he was last season was the teams most valuable player. Now, did I expect him to have a blowout yr? No, but I certainly expected that he would have a better year and his play last year wasn’t too shabby to begin with.

I never posted about it. I was never ugly about it. I just didn’t like our prospects, any of them. I just never thought we would see this type of jump. You’re a liar or delusional if you say you did.

22 years of old? Do you think any fricking QB worth a shite peaks at 20?

Advanced age lol. Pray we have another 5th year senior in Nuss. Bc they don’t know shite until at least their Jr year.

Nuss Dad is a QB coach. Why you think he’s ok with his son sitting for 3 years?

The older the better at QB in college football

Still not sure why anyone needs to eat crow. We are all LSU fans first and JD has become a Heisman caliber QB through work in the offseason and glad he turned it around.
I never pulled against him just was frustrated knowing he had the arm talent just wasn’t confident or consistent so it was frustrating.

This is the point.

People ripped him and called for Nuss last year and this off-season despite the obvious fact that we didn’t lose any games last year because of him or his tendency to play safe and tuck and run (which he was very likely coached to do) and won pretty much every game we did almost exclusively BECAUSE of him and his playmaking ability.

It was a weird phenomenon and it continued until basically people had no justification to complain whatsoever and even now there is the “he still misses some throws” crowd as they give him his “praise”
