How crappy must you feel this morning watching an undrafted division 2 rookie outplay and beat your number one overall pick last night.
And to top it off, have to send your more than likely top 3 pick to that team.
And to top that off, the other qb picked right after is lighting it up this year.
Our Olave trade is looking pretty bad right now, but this is next level shite.

yeah to be this bad and not be able to enjoy losing to get a good draft pick must be painful.

David Tepper has made some pretty crappy hires since he took over that team.
They actually played really well last year even after they traded CMC. If they had beaten Tampa on the last game of the season they would have won the South. When they traded McCaffrey everybody thought that it was a sign that they were fixing to start tanking.
I don't know if Steve Wilks would have been the answer but tepper goes out and hires a retread head coach.

Crazy thing is it's actually looking to be worse than the Trey Lance trade.
Traded up from 12 (Micah Parsons) to 3 to draft Trey Lance.
Also gave up the 29th & 102nd (3rd round) picks in 2022, and the 29th pick in 2023
They could have stayed at 12 and went with Mac Jones and probably gotten more than a 4th rounder to send Jones to Dallas

If this pick turns into 1.1, even 1.2, what a colossal failure.

That football game last night was the definition of pathetic. Both sides of the ball.

It's so bad here that I can't even make fun of them.....just kidding. I bust their chops ever fricking second I can. They ran their mouths after the draft and even leading into the season. The Panthers are terrible and have really dug themselves into a deep hole with draft picks, etc....
BTW, Tepper is a shitty sports owner.

Their should be real concern over Young. I'm not going to say it never happens because obviously it does/has, but how often does a guy come into the league struggling and eventually puts it together and becomes one of the best?
Young: 62.8% comp, 2.8 TD%, 2.4 INT%, 195 YPG, 75.9 QBR
Mahomes: 66.0% comp, 8.6 TD%, 2.1 INT%, 319 YPG, 113.8 QBR
Burrow: 65.3% comp, 3.2 TD%, 1.2 INT%, 269 YPG, 89.3 QBR
Allen: 52.8% comp, 3.1 TD%, 3.8 INT%, 173 YPG, 67.9 QBR
Herbert: 66.6% comp, 5.2 TD%, 1.7 INT%, 289 YPG, 98.3 QBR

Glad they picked him and not Stroud! Hope we play against that 5'8" 175# QB for the next 15 years.

I never understand why people include who was selected at those picks...it is irrelevant. Once a player like Lance comes off the board at #3 then every pick and trade afterward has been altered in some way.
Maybe some team moves up to #4 or #5 for Lance and then a different player is taken there.
