Hawkins gonna get more minutes with CJ going down. Really just wanna see a what this team can do healthy. That’s all I ask. I’m not down on them yet. It’s early. Just look at the lakers last year. Anything can happen and I really think we have the shooters to fit around Zion now. We just have to work through it.

We're on a 3 game skid. Looking at the schedule we could be in for a nosedive if they don't figure it out quick. We could lose a lot of games in the next couple of weeks.

Gonna be completely honest (seriously, no pun intended). I’ve been a sunshine pumper for so many years and a ride or die fan, but it’s becoming very hard to care. I obviously want nothing but the best for this team, but I’m tired of hyping myself up to such high levels only to soon after be frustrated and upset with this team.

With all of that being said, I’m looking forward to our next Al Pacino moment when everyone is healthy and they pull me back in.

When we get healthy, we will put the league on notice.

The same like I felt in the summer. That it’s gonna be more of the same bullshite with this injury prone group and snake oil salesman GM.

Look how jacked Zion is! He’s working out!

Griff really shite the bed not making any moves when he had a chance. His “ Run it Back” on an injury prone team that didn’t even make the playoffs was a red flag. I think Griff and Willie has to go unless a miracle happens and we start winning games

I'm mostly just becoming apathetic toward the NBA in the same way I am toward college football as a fan of a G5 team in an NIL/P5 world..

The best way for a small market to contend is thru the draft, but we can't just pick BPA.. we have to take low ceiling/high floor character guys who "want to be here"..

Even with infinite cap space we are wasting our time pursuing top free agents and coaching candidates.

I still think they'll be around at the end of the season.. theres too much parody in the west for 5-6 teams to run off with it.. Just hard to shake the feeling that we are playing the NBA game with one hand tied behind our backs

I am already in mid-season mode in that I don't fricking care about the games. I will watch them if they happen to be on and may even go to a game if someone gives me tickets, but the early excitement is buried.

I already don’t care about watching games. The only reason I would tune in right now is to see Hawkins play.

add on the fact that Ballys is making it as hard as possible to watch

I think the front office has done a pretty good job building around the 2 "stars" The stars are just letting them down.

There's some weaknesses in the front court with JV and Larry but those can be upgraded.

Hawkins, Matt Ryan, and JRE all look like good moves around the edges that theyve made this year. Herb, Trey, Jose, Dyson, and CJ are all good players that teams would love to have.

BI and Zion simply have not held up their end of the bargain. They arent playing like stars.

Most other star duos in this league would have this squad rolling if you switched them with BI & Zion

One thing that is disconcerting is we are in game 8 and have started two guys who were signed off the street a few days before. What kind of roster construction do you have when you are starting Jeremiah Robinson-Earl 5 days after you sign him to a two-way contract?

We are collecting data. As usual the data is complete because nobody is ever healthy at the same time, but what we have been able to collect kind of all say the same thing.

BI CAN fit, but that doesn't seem to be his natural inclination.
We need better rebounding and rim protection.

One problem could help solve the other but the optics aren't so great, especially when BI's peak trade opportunity was probably this past summer.

I got home and tried to put the game on and couldnt' b/c Ballys sucks.
I looked on my phone to notice we were losing by 20+ in the first half, so i said screw this.

The sad part of all of this is we are 8 games into the season and this is what we trotted out there last night:

Jeremiah Robinson Earl - 28 minutes - borderline nba player at best playing in his 93rd nba game in 3 years.

Matt Ryan - 26 minutes - end of bench guy who no one wanted this offseason, although has looked really good with us, playing in his 43rd nba game in 4 years.

Kira Lewis - 19 minutes - won't be in the nba next year, playing in his 111th game

Seabron- 17 minutes - borderline nba player playing in his 7th NBA game

EJ Liddell - 5 minutes - can't even get minutes when we have 6 guys out.

Cody Zeller - 12 minutes - is an end of the bench veteran that should rarely see playing time except when there are injuries

That's 107 minutes of the possible 240 going to guys that barely even belong on a roster, much less should be playing.
add to that 30 minutes from a rookie and 31 minutes from a 2nd year 20 year old and 70% of the minutes last night were played by guys who either have very little experience in the nba, or aren't good enough to be in a normal rotation on any nba team.

Sorry but i don't feel like watching that crap.

Just hoping to see following improvements during the course of the year:

1. Dyson better shooting 3s & "floater"
2. Herb better shooting 3s & learns how to finish at hoop
3. Trey gets stronger & goes to the hoop & plays solid D

Look forward to the day these 3 are the core of the Pels...along with whomever we can get...assuming we eventually move BI and/or Zion. If both BI and Zion are STILL here in a coupla years...well, not sure what there is to get excited about...just mess around and hope to make the playoffs. Of course, we'd probably be better off NOT making the playoffs in that scenario...but that's a discussion for another day.
