re: Big Ten hands down punishment: Jim Harbaugh not allowed on the sidelines during games

Michigan’s response to the Big Ten included an argument that Ohio State was doing it too with a document a former Ohio State staffer sent to a former Michigan coach. The entire document was screenshots from broadcast footage.

Common sense indicates Alabama has had wide scale cheating in place for 16 years which directly impacted results on the field. Is there a trail of evidence to prove this? No, we just have to live with it unfortunately.
The ncaa doesn’t bust cheaters, they bust bad ones.
Usually takes something from the outside to get them to notice. Like the fbi tapes with will wade, Tennessee wanting to get out of their buyout so the ratted on themselves, fraud trails, or bong rip videos

Tony Petitti has no idea how badly he just botched his job, but here is a hint: In a meeting last week, Michigan’s regents discussed possibly leaving the Big Ten if Petitti suspended coach Jim Harbaugh without what the school considered due process, a person familiar with those discussions told Sports Illustrated.

A couple years ago Michigan wanted to fire the guy. Now they'll burn it all down over a 3 game suspension

They would have to pony up a shite ton of money upfront to get out, only to make less money per year in TV revenue.

Yeah, he’s trying real hard to diminish what Michigan did. To the point that he made up that all football programs hire third-parties to go do what stallions did
Tes, because Michigan State fans sure love Michigan

Michigan calling in home field advantage

Not to mention, B1G takes pride for its academics (even if elitist), and there is a huge multibillion dollar research alliance within the conference. So with the teams leaning the PAC-12, and the more elite institutions going to either the B1G or the ACC, then the ACC would be the only P5 conference that would fit that academic elitism (obviously SEC has plenty of elite institute, but not quite at the level of ACC and B1G).
And from a money standpoint, the SEC makes the most sense, but even if the SEC would take them, I’m sure they know they have tan advantage and UM would not get full revenue sharing for awhile. Not to mention, the sec commissioner provided evidence to the NCAA in this probe (and is cited in the B1G’s letter), so it’s not like they’re on good terms with the SEC either. Plus given the geography/climate, a lot of sports UM has is primarily played in the B1G and other conferences in the north (like hockey). Not really a good fit there.

I feel like Harbaugh will have to be locked up in a cage hung above the field like when heel wrestling managers were in special matches to keep him from communicating and coaching the team in some way for these games.

Why even discuss this fantasy shite? Meatchicken isn't leaving the B1G.

Allegedly Judge Connors is no longer the judge handling the TRO. It is now Judge Carol Kuhnke.
She is a Michigan undergrad, but not currently employed by the school

Yeah, sure. Then they sobered up and realized they're not going anywhere because of the cash they'd leave behind.
